What is miraDry®?

What is the recovery process like after having miraDry treatments?

Your body needs time to adjust after your miraDry treatments, but the recovery process is simple and straightforward. A degree of swelling and minor discomfort is normal in the hours following your treatments. 

Place cloth-covered ice packs beneath your arms to reduce swelling. Over-the-counter anti-inflammatory pain medication is all that’s needed to control discomfort. It’s important to keep your underarms clean during the healing process, and applying antibiotic ointment reduces the risk of infection. 

Avoid using deodorant or lotion in the treatment area for a few days. Refraining from exercise or strenuous activity for several days is also essential. Wearing loose clothing helps avoid irritation in the underarm area.
